Kimberley Turner is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aerosafe Risk Management. As a certified practicing risk manager and strategic advisor in governance, Kimberley is heavily involved in promoting and advancing the discipline of risk management and has been dubbed a “risk management futurist” for her forward thinking, innovation, and original leading concepts in the field.
Kimberley is a risk management advocate, and regularly provides expert witness testimony, advises regulators and standard setting bodies, and is instrumental in driving the thought leadership in this industry.
Kimberley has recently been appointed to the Board of the International Graduate School of Risk Management. She is regularly invited to be a keynote speaker at conferences around the globe, and has authored three publications in risk management. Kimberley is a previous Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year recipient. She was also a finalist in the 2010 Risk Management Institute of Australasia’s Risk Manager of the Year award.
Kimberley supports a number of CEOs in both the public and private sector and provides regular risk coaching in corporate governance and organizational risk management frameworks to company and Government Boards and Risk & Audit Committees. Among her many achievements is being a risk advisor to the counter-terrorism team for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. At 24 years of age, Kimberley was awarded the Centenary Medal of Federation by the Prime Minister of Australia for service and leadership to the business community.
